Terms of Service for RapidSubs Captions & Subtitles

By using the RapidSubs Captions & Subtitles app (the "App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

RapidSubs is free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no ads, no watermark and no account or sign-in.

You are responsible for the videos you caption and share with the App, and for having the rights to use them. Do not use the App for anything unlawful. Your videos stay on your device and remain yours; we never receive them.

Captions are generated automatically by on-device speech recognition and may contain mistakes. Please check them before you publish a video.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that transcriptions will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the App.

Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with it, Apple's EULA applies.

RapidSubs collects no personal data. See the RapidSubs Privacy Policy for details.

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new terms.
