This Privacy Policy describes how Hireshot ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

- Purchase information

- Anonymous user ID
- Device information (device type, operating system)
- App usage data and analytics (features used, interactions)
- Push notification tokens (if notifications are enabled)
- Advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID) for attribution and analytics

2. Photo Processing and Face Data

2.1 Photo Processing:
When you upload a photo, it is transmitted directly to Google's Gemini AI service for headshot generation. We do not collect, extract, or store any face data, biometric identifiers, or facial recognition data from your photos.

2.2 How Photos Are Processed:
- Photos you upload are sent directly to Google's Gemini AI API for processing
- Google's AI generates stylized headshot images based on your photo
- We do not analyze, store, or process your photos on our own servers
- We do not perform facial recognition or extract biometric data

2.3 Third-Party Processing:
Your photos are transmitted to Google (Gemini AI) solely for generating headshot images. Google processes this data according to their privacy policy and data handling practices. We do not share your photos with any other third parties, and we do not sell your photos or any derived data.

2.4 Photo Storage:
- We do not store your uploaded photos on our servers
- Photos are transmitted directly to Google's Gemini AI and are not retained by us
- Generated headshot images are stored locally on your device only

2.5 Data Retention:
- We do not retain your uploaded photos after they are sent to Google for processing
- We do not maintain any database or storage of user photos
- Generated images exist only on your device

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:
- Generate AI-powered professional headshots from your photos
- Manage your image generation credits
- Improve our App and user experience
- Measure advertising campaign effectiveness and attribution

4. Data Sharing

We share your information with the following third-party service providers:
- Google (Gemini AI): To process and generate headshot images from your photos (see Section 2 for details on face data handling)
- Supabase: For database services (user accounts and credits only, not photos)
- RevenueCat: For payment processing
- PostHog: For app analytics
- Tenjin: For advertising attribution and analytics
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For payment processing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4.1 Advertising and Tracking:
We use Tenjin to measure advertising effectiveness. With your permission (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS), we may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and share it with Tenjin for ad attribution purposes. You can opt out of tracking at any time through your device settings.

5. Data Retention

Photos uploaded for headshot generation are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. Generated images are stored locally on your device only. For specific details on face data retention, see Section 2.5.

6. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by email.
